This is a model of actual truck John DaPos remembers as a kid from local construction company. The cab is a combo of two cabs (Classic Metal Works Ford pickup and Athearn Ford F-850). Both were left over from past projects. Details were added and modifications made to the grille, cowl, and hood. The chassis also was a leftover in bone yard from an unknown source. Wheels are from Athearn. The trailer is a GHQ white metal kit that was modified so the wheels would turn and are from CMW. Also, the ramps were hinged to function. Detailed and weathered to appear realistic.
