This 1950s model Peterbilt 281 truck tractor and fuel tanker trailer from the movie Duel, was on display at the 2022 Midwest Meet/St. Louis RPM Meet. Brad Hassler built his model using a 3D printed cab from Shapeways mounted on an Athearn chassis with wheels from the parts box. The tanker is a resin casting from an Ulrich master. Brad added a hose box to the other side to help fill it in. The model was painted with a base copper tone color, then added India Ink and alcohol wash, then weathered with some chalk powders.
