David Larson recently finished work on this Brockway 260 semi tractor, which was built as a memorial for the truckers involved in the 1949 Holland Tunnel fire. The model is a Sylvan Scale Models resin kit that he built with a few scratchbuilt details such as fuel tanks and the exhaust pipe added later. The truck was painted in the colors of Apex Inc., the company whose truck started the Holland Tunnel fire. David took these photos on a small diorama he made. The background photo in the photo below is a picture of a funnel cloud David took in Baltimore back in 2020.
