This model built by Rick Hoskinson represents a German late war ambulance based on the Ford 3 ton chassis. Most of the late war features are present: flat fenders, small headlights and the hood front louvers and cooling doors to accommodate the taller radiator required for more efficient engine cooling. The roof rack and rear entry steps were scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene. Grab handles, door handles, side mirror, exhaust system and license plates were also scratchbuilt. Tail light lens are MV Products and paint is Model Master post '43 Dark Yellow. The aircraft recognition flag, SS unit markings and license plate decals are from Decal Details and Dom's Decals. The Red Cross decals are by Interdecal. Weathered using dry pigments.
