This Herpa half track is made up of components from two models. The hood and cab from one and the front fenders from the other. Combined, they represent a very late war version of this very useful vehicle. After 1943, production of these vehicles began to be "simplified" to reduce cost, man hours and vital resources. Scratchbuilt items include exhaust system, side mirror, canvas tarp and bows, tail light housing and license plates.  Paint is Model Master Dark Yellow and weathering is washes and dry pigments. Decals are from TL.
