Günter Storch scratchbuilt this very impressive Pettibone Speedswing 445F that is built and distributed by Pettibone. It was photographed on Günter's layout which is showing the famous railroad crossing of the CN and UP (former EJ&E and Chicago Northwestern) in West Chicago on Washington Street, where the CN is undergoing some repairs on the crossing.

The model is completely scratchbuilt using Evergreen styrene. Wheels and Hi-rail wheels are resin castings. With that 8 wheels, it has 30 spare parts mostly from Preiser and Roco. The chain is from A-Line. All decals are self printed, except the red/white stripes, that again came from A-Line.
