The Roco version of the World War II German SdKfz 7 medium towing tractor is, according to Rick Hoskinson, a good representation of this vehicle and only a few add on details were required to give it a more realistic appearance. The track surfaces were enhanced by adding strip styrene, the solid front wheels were replaced with a spoke type from the Roco Henschel cargo truck, and front tires and windshield wipers are from A-Line. A more detailed interior includes a steering wheel, shift and brake levers, an instrument cluster, and grab handles fashioned from .010" brass rod. A scratchbuilt exhaust and rear license plate as well as a Roco pintle hitch, spare tire/wheel assembly and an MV Products tail light lens finish off the exterior details. Paint is Model Masters Panzer yellow with a black wash and dry pigments for weathered effect. License decals are from TL.
