Here is the latest project off Jim Groeneweg's workbench, utilizing Walthers' 35’ trailer pretty much out of the box. Jim added mud flaps and a coat of Alclad Polished Aluminum. The truck tractor is of course the awesome Sylvan Scale Models kit. It is mounted on an unknown Herpa European truck chassis that was modified to accept the cab. The fuel tanks were cut off the supplied chassis and grafted on with added deck plate, scratchbuilt bumper, exhaust and bracket with Athearn air horns. Wheels are five spoke Athearn using the Sylvan tires and interior, mirrors. The paint is '55 GM commercial green with white base/clear paint with the fenders painted in Humbrol black later. You can see details of the entire build process on Hank's Truck Forum.
