David Flynn built this 1989 Ford F-750 dump truck by cutting the cab from a 1989 1/83 scale Matchbox utility truck. The frame, wheels, interior, and beacon light are from a Boley International 4900 plow truck and the dump body is by Life-Like. Mirrors are from Herpa, painted white. The plow hoist, mud flaps, and reflectors were made from sheet plastic and plastic rods. The clear blue plastic glass was cut on the sides to reveal the interior and modeled with the windows rolled down. The truck is painted green and yellow like the Town of North Hempstead, New York fleet.
