This heavy duty hauler from Jerry Allen uses a Mack CH613 from Promotex to which Jerry added two 125 gallon fuel tanks (A-Line), headache rack (Dennis Aust), front fender posts (Plano), "Wide Load” sign applied to tractor, and safety cones (Scale Scenics). The trailer is a Boley lowboy repainted metallic blue. Jerry replaced the original wheels on the trailer and dolly with spoked wheels/tires (Lonestar), installed a laser cut wood deck, added ramps to trailer, and the trailer frame has has been drilled to lighten it. Conspicuity stripes were installed (Microscale), added toolbox (Details West), safety flags added to trailer, "Wide Load” sign applied to trailer, chocks and shoring made of weathered basswood. The load is a Caterpillar 627G scraper (Norscot) to which Jerry added new ladders (Plastruct), replaced molded-on screeen with photoetch and added windshield wiper (A-Line).
