This model was built from a resin kit that he acquired at the 2013 East Coast Meet in Springfield, MA from fellow modeler Markus Stranger, visiting from Germany. Markus showed Jim at that show, mentioning it started out a Jacobs Models 1995-2002 GMC Savanna kit which he updated to a 2003–current Chevy Express and kindly gave Jim a copy. Jim had been sitting on the kit for that long.
So, beginning with the updated Chevy Express casting, Jim cut it off and mated it to a Trident body which has a little more detail than the Boley unit and is a little shorter which is what this one is based on. Closely modeled after, but not exact, BCAS (British Columbia Ambulance Service) paint scheme with decals from Microscale applied over the painted on striping. River Point Station steel wheels were painted gray and mirrors from the F-250/450 series, with a Boley Topkick interior and windshield filed to fit. The extra light in the grille bar and front fenders were added and that pretty much sums up the unit.
