1962 Plymouth Fury & 1965 Ford Boyertown Stepvan NYPD - By John DaPos


These NYPD vehicles are representative of what the NYPD used in the 1960s. The squad car was made with an 87RPM kit that John DaPos converted into a sedan. The wheels are from CMW. The Paddy wagon was made from a white metal kit John came across. It was too square in appearance but he says he was able to file and shape the front end to make it more prototypical. Wheels are from River Point Station and glass is Krystal Klear. Details were spares or fabricated and decals were homemade.
