Conrail Grumman Hi-Rail Truck - By Andrew Pearson

Andrew Pearson built this very interesting Conrail Grumman Hi-Rail maintenance truck. It was built using a 3D printed shell from Shapeways. The shell was meant to mount on a Bachmann hi-rail chassis so the rear section was solid. Andrew had to cut out the bed and make new walls and a floor from styrene and brass diamond plate. The frame is from a Roco Dodge pickup, heavily modified. The wheels came off of a Roco army jeep and the rail gear is from Details West. Decals are Mount Vernon Shops with lots of miscellaneous small detail parts added.
