This photo of the Katy piggyback rig built by Bob Johnson and introduced in Photo Gallery 760 is shown in service on new owner Larry Breedlove's home model railroad. Bob built the truck tractor using an Atlas Ford LNT-9000 tandem axle truck tractor with extensive upgrades; Plano Model Products photo-etched grille and mirrors, Athearn spoke wheels (stripped and repainted) and tires, painted fuel tanks, and decals. The tractor decals are from a Microscale N scale locomotive decal set and the tractor received a coat of Dullcoat for a prototypical sun-baked red appearance. The 40' Brown trailer is a Trainworx model.
