Kiwi modeler Ray Foot built this Transport Nelson R600 Mack tipper (dump truck, above, left) and Clinton Transport CW50 Nissan livestock hauler (above, right). Transport Nelson used this truck and trailer tipper on a dedicated coal run in the South Island while the Clinton Transport livestock truck could be found hauling livestock in the lower half of the South Island. Ray formerly drove for Clinton Transport back in the 1990s. The R600 is an Athearn model with two modified Ralph Ratcliffe dump beds while the Nissan is a white metal cab from Peter Young (Australia) with scratchbuilt Sutton livestock crates.
