Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

Fire Station No. 1 - By John DaPos

This fire station model is an interpretation of one of the fire companies in John DaPos' home town when he was a kid. It had a '60s American La France pumper and mid-mount ladder truck, both are Busch models. The ladder was made from two pumpers. The 1957 LCF Chevy heavy rescue was made using an Athearn body. The 1959 hose tender is an Revell Ford C cab truck with an EKO body. The 1954 Ford "vanette" is made from two Woodland Scenic stepvans. The 1959 Ford pickup a repainted and detailed Classic Metal Works vehicle. All units were heavily modified and detailed.
