Richard Olson's "Mr. Ice" delivery truck that was on display at the 2017 East Coast Meet is a Life-Like 1978 Ford F-150 pickup backdated to 1973 with a scratchbuilt grille, side trim, rear bumper, interior, and drivetrain using Wiking wheels. A Roco military signal cabin was converted into a freezer with refrigerator unit. The model was built in 1992.

The significance of the photo of the book underneath the model is that the publisher of the book used a photo of Richard's model on the cover of the book (shown below).
