Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Fueling Unit - By Alex Forman

Alex Forman built this model of an ex-military FMTV M1075 fuel truck now used by the U.S. Coast Guard for its helicopters and aircraft. The model is weathered to reflect years of use on the tarmac. The model was built using a Roco cab and generator and Wiking chassis (with a Herpa steering kit). The tank itself is from a Matchbox model and the rear pumps are scratchbuilt using various parts from different manufacturers. The Stingray helicopter is from Amercom and the towing tractor is a modified old Tootsietoy model with a scratchbuilt tow bar.
