This pair of Transport Motor Express tractor-trailer models was built by Fred Gruin. The foreground tractor is a Hendrickson built using a hollow cab resin casting of unknown origin. The other is an Ivers Engineering White Road Boss. Both models are on shortened Athearn frames with Boley wheels with exhaust stacks fabricated from K&S aluminum tubing, Herpa air horns, A-Line mirrors, and other detail items from the parts box. Both 40' trailers are from Athearn.
