Mack Rawhide Oilfield Truck Tractor - By Bryan Brownell

Bryan Brownell built this Mack Rawhide oilfield haul truck tractor. The cab, wheels, tires, fuel tanks, and chassis are from Herpa. The hood is a resin casting that Bryan found at a train show. The toolboxes and fifth wheel assembly are resin castings also. The front bumper, headache rack, winch guard, deck plate, rolling tail board and taillight plate were all scratchbuilt from styrene. The winch is from a Boley fire truck with winch cable made from black thread. The strobe light was also scratchbuilt. Cab details such as horns, mirrors, and cab hand rails are also from Herpa. These trucks are very common around the oil fields in northern Oklahoma where Bryan lives.
