Here's another custom conversion of a brass Classic Construction Models (CCM) piece from Dan Goins! The real 854G is the largest wheel dozer in Caterpillar's lineup. Just like the real machine, Dan started with a 992G wheel loader. Dan hired local (Dallas, Texas) custom builder Wade Thornton to scratchbuild a new hard nose, hydraulic cylinders, and blade assembly to mate up with a D&K Models bulldozer blade. Then Dan finished the detailing on the model, painted and redecaled the unit to make this monster wheel dozer!
