B & R Eckels Peterbilt 378 Oilfield Crane - By Günter Storch

Günter Storch submitted these photos of another oilfield "picker" truck, a Pete 378 running for Albertan oilfield hauler B&R Eckels. It is outfitted with a 45 ton Hydralift picker. The cab is a resin casting from an unknown producer that Günter bought at a swap meet, including the air cleaners. The chassis (lengthened), horns, fifth wheel and sleeper are all from Promotex. The front bumper, tanks, and toolboxes are all resin castings that Günter made himself. A-Line supplied the chains and mirrors. The rotating warning beacon lights, crane hook, and the crane cab with the interior are all from Kibri. Günter used Evergreen rectangular tubing to extend the crane boom. The logos of Peterbilt, B&R Eckels and Hydra-Lift are all self printed water slide decals.
