This water tanker that began as a Roco M35 rocket launcher was acquired as a used kit from Fidelis models by first-time contributor Jeff Chapman-Crane. The rocket assembly was removed, the vehicle repainted, and a scratchbuilt bed added. Jeff used a tank from a inexpensive toy and added various details from the spare parts box. Front wheels and tires came from an Athearn Kenworth kit. After covering the entire truck with Testors dull coat and weathering with egg tempera paint and pastels, Jeff photographed the model on a diorama of his own construction.
