Jesse Weigand built this Powertraxx model 18-H tracked vehicle with an Elliott 26 ton, 105 foot telescopic crane. In the scene above CSX is returning it to the dealership for some warranty work. The Powertraxx chassis was built using Roco tank tracks and a scratchbuilt frame and superstructure. Homemade decals and detail parts and pieces complete the model. It feature detail pieces from Custom Finishing, River Point Station, and Model Tech Studios.
The second Powertraxx unit (red unit in above photo) in the picture is a model 10S-H. It was built using smaller Roco tank tracks, a scratchbuilt frame, cab and dump box. The crane is a Palfinger model from Herpa. It utilizes detail pieces from Custom Finishing, River Point Station and Model Tech Studios. On display again at the 2014 East Coast Meet in W. Springfield, MA.
