This scene on Ian and Jesse’s corner module depicts a CSX Emergency Response Training Center. This picture shows several vehicles from Scenemaster, River Point Station and fire props made from Life-Like and Herpa vehicles. A facility like this would be used to train emergency response personnel on how to respond to an actual emergency. Within this scene firefighters are conducting simultaneous structural fire fighting and HAZMAT training. The building in the center is the command tower which would control the live fire props around the outside of the training center. Fire props shown include a simulated box car fire, flammables cabinet fire, electrical motor fire, underground gas valve fire, above ground gas valve fire, compressed gas cylinder rack fire, a product leak from the acid tank railcar, and an unknown chemical leak from the Herpa tank trailer. The Amerigas propane tank is not designed as a prop but would rather be used to fuel the live fires within the facility. The black Life-Like pickup is a training prop firefighters use to extinguish vehicle fires. Ian and Jesse did most of this scene together. Ian built all of the Cal Fire and Scenemaster vehicles along with the training tower. Jesse built the yard, training props, figures, and Alloy Forms fencing. On display again at the 2014 East Coast Meet in W. Springfield, MA.
