German WWII Jagdpanzer lV Prototype Tank - By Rick Hoskinson

This German World War II Jagdpanzer lV prototype from Rick Hoskinson was built from a Roco model with L48 gun for the basis of this model. To create the unshielded engine compartment the rear half of the model was cut off and the engine deck and rear fenders from a Mk lV battle tank were added. The L70 cannon and gun travel lock were scratchbuilt. The model was painted with Modelmasters paints, ambush dapple camouflage hand brushed, and weathered with pastel chalks, dry pigments, dry brushing and washes. Finished with TL decals.

Historical info from Wikipedia: Jagdpanzer (JgPz), German for "hunting tank", is a name given to German self-propelled anti-tank guns. It typically refers to anti-tank variants of existing tank chassis with a well-armored casemate fixed superstructure, mounting an anti-tank gun with limited traverse in the front, and usually classed by the western Allies of World War II as a tank destroyer.
