International SF2500 Dump Truck With Snow Plow - By David Flynn

David Flynn built this very sharp looking International SF2500 dump truck (1978-c1990). The chassis is from Boley with wheels from Wiking and cab from Herpa/Con-Cor. The dump body is from Ricks Decals and the plow is from the 1990s Matchbox Chevy snowplow and salt spreader. The lights on the hood are from an Athearn fire truck. The plow hoist is from small parts of unknown origin. The horns and fuel tanks are from old white metal kits. David says he decided not to paint the fuel tanks because he liked the look of the bare metal. The decals and mud flaps are homemade.

The truck is painted in the post-2001 colors of the Town of Smithtown (NY) Highway Department. The town actually never owned any tandem axle S2500s but this would fit right in with the single axle S1900s, 4900s, and 2500s the town has.
