Refrigerated Freight Lines Truck Fleet - By Ray Foot

Here's more of Ray Foot's kitbashed replicas of real New Zealand trucks that were operating during the '70s-'80s. They are replicas of trucks his father (Jeff Foot) drove for Refrigerated Freight Lines (RFL). The R600 Mack is a repainted Athearn model. The two Kenworths are actually made from Promotex Freightliner models with the windshields enlarged and a new flat front panel replacing the angled Freightliner one.
To finish them off,an Athearn W900 Kenworth grille(which has been narrowed) and headlights/bumper were used. Also these trucks were converted to day cabs from the original Freightliner models.

These two Kenworths represent two different styles that RFL had, the 4x2 tractor with the straight blue line around the cab (on the right) is a 1971 Canadian assembled Kenworth while the 6x4 tractor with the curved stripes (on the left) is a model of the 1973 Australian assembled Kenworths that RFL ran.
