Joe Bohannon built this Yellow Brigadier truck tractor from a Majorette die-cast truck model produced in the 1980s. The cab is mounted on an Athearn frame with Athearn wheels and exhaust. The tractor was painted and then decaled with A-Line decals. The Yellow "Billboard" trailer is also from Athearn. The photos were shot on Joe's San Pedro Eastern model railroad layout based on the Long Beach/San Pedro, California area and the photo series represent the typical day a Yellow Freight P&D driver might face. The inspiration for the model came from one of Joe's friends named Jimmy Bryant (a Hank's Truck Pictures forum member) who worked for Yellow Freight (now YRC) and was assigned a Brigadier for his P&D duties.
