Canadian National International 4900 Hi-Rail Welding Truck - By Mike Pebesma


This model from Mike Pebesma is a hi-rail welding truck. It started with a Boley cab which was put on a scratchbuilt frame. The bed, tool cabinets, Miller "Big Blue Turbo" welder and the mini Hiab hoist were all scratchbuilt from styrene. The fine mesh used for the bed sides is copper shielding from old computer ribbon cable.The hi-rail wheels are made from N scale freight car wheels and can be moved to the road or rail position. It was painted using Pollyscale paints and decals from Microscale with Ontario licence plates from Penitentiary Products.
