First-time contributor Wayne Schimmel tells us he saw the prototype
for this model unloading railroad supplies at a local yard. The model
was built from photos he took. The tractor is a Herpa Kenworth modified
slightly and painted. The tandem fenders on the were installed
from another model. The trailer is 53' spread axle from Trucks N' Stuff.
The trailer was modified by adding the side drop in boards, the hydraulic
outriggers, and the crane was custom built from Evergreen styrene strip.
Extra equipment boxes on the trailer contain the hydraulic controls
for the crane and outriggers.
