Here's another look at David Flynn's 1/87 scale model of a 1963 Michigan 125A Series II tractor shovel. David made the model circa 1990 and added the decals recently. It was built from an old Wiking front end loader, sheet plastic, and a little bit of brass screen. The exhaust pipe is part of a paper clip bent to the proper radius and filed to shape. Fortunately, the wheelbase of the Wiking model is within 2 scale inches of the Michigan prototype. Also, the wheels and bucket are "close enough." Also shown in Photo Gallery 237.
