Here's a look at the operator in Holm Kämpfer's model
of the world´s
largest hydraulic shovel, the Terex RH 400, and has a weight of some
980
metric tons. The model consists of about 2,300 parts and it took Holm
230 hours
to make it.
Holm says, "After such a work I´m just not brave enough
to weather to models and so I must tell everybody that it is always
their first
operating
hour in the mine when I took the photographs." And as you may
remember from the pics from the Fulda Meet, Holm normally presents
his models
as a Mining Equipment Exhibition where they are always shining clean.
