Markus Traeger is a 27 year old hobby modeler from Germany and reports his favorite scale is 1/87. His main themes are FDNY, NYPD, and trucks, especially American car haulers. This is the Mask Service Unit 2 of the FDNY. The cab is from IHC, the wheels are from Athearn, and the mirrors from Plano. The chassis and body are scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene. The warning lights come from Trident. The decals are made by Frank Adam and some are from DMC decals in Denmark. Markus found pictures of the original truck in Dirk Wieczorek's book "U.S. Fire Engines".
