When we first announced the Unit Rig/Terex MT4400 mining truck project, this project was to be produced in die-cast white metal. The latest update from Dan Goins is that the model is now being produced as a highly detailed brass model and is currently in production with a release date of first quarter 2001. The projected price is now at $300.00 (an  increase of $50 over earlier projection). The model will be available in three different paint schemes:

Scheme #1   Yellow  Unit Rig Lectrahaul logo's
Scheme #2   Yellow  Terex & Unit Rig logo's
Scheme #3   White & Dark Gray with Red Lettering  Terex Mining logo's

You can look forward to rubber tires, engine detail, steerable front wheels, and a movable dump bed. Production is still limited to only 300 pieces (all paint schemes) so if you're interested e-mail Dan Goins. This promises to be an extraordinary model! [posted 11/20/2000]
